Teach with Tech is a website blog that teachers parents and students from around the world have come together to post new technology websites, and seminars. It is a little outdated it has not been used since March 21, 2007, but when it was being used there were consistent postings of new info. The Universal Design for learning model provides a new direction for using technology with students who have special needs. Daniel McNulty, of the PATINS (Promoting Achievement through Technology and Instruction for All Students) Project, shares resources and ideas for implementing UDL in the K-12 classroom, is; an example of the postings that are on the blog. A blog like this one would help teachers in one county share ideas with teachers form another country to try and improve the education difference between other countries.

Westlake elementary school teachers that teach social studies, math and science have created a safe web log (blog). The site is set up so the students can post pictures, homework and many other documents. The teachers have guided reading sessions online. The site only allows the students to post in a secure environment so others can view but only students on the teacher’s role can post and share info. The site is used during the class time, the teacher state that it is a learning experience to introduce each other with the latest technology.

Mr. Langhorst is a eight grade teacher at South Valley Junior High School in Liberty Missouri. Mr. Langhorst teaches American History, and he has created a site with a blog for his students to have the latest news for what’s going on in the classroom. He placed everything you might need for class on the site with class outlines and class videos and pictures. On his blog he asks questions, and he expects feedback. The questions and discussions on the blog allow the students to think about the project and the subject.

ACCESS
ACCESS or Expanded Learning Opportunities through Technology in Alabama is to provide higher quality classroom courses and teachers through technology. The website is very up to date with the latest news that is happening in the state of Alabama Education system. The power point provides a very clear expectation of ACCESS. ACCESS is focused on the high school students because there are many schools that are not able to provide the higher level classes like trigonometry. The power point provides the Vision, Mission, and the goal of ACCESS.
The site may be very useful to secondary school teachers. It is very easy to navigate, and easy to follow. ACCESS does present a great amount of resources and fun facts that a teacher would like to know while being in the classroom. The statistics that are listed in the power point might inspire a teacher to increase the learning opportunity that is given to the students, and better their education.

ALEX
Alabama Learning Exchange is a wonderful tool for teachers. It is know as ALEX, the website provides tremendous amount of resources for teachers in the Alabama school system. The site is not only for teachers but also administrators, and students. It contains a homepage with eight different categories to navigate teachers to the right source. The course of study link is for the different subjects a teacher will teach. ALEX also provides a section for teachers and educators to prepare lesson plans and it also gives examples of lesson plans. The professional learning provides wonderful tip and tricks needed in the classroom.
ALEX is a website that will be very useful to the new teachers in the Alabama school system. During the first years ALEX might be the teachers’ pet. It has everything compiled into one site. It even has a help box to answer the questions a teacher might be a little shy on asking because this is the first year. ALEX will definitely be used in my classroom because it is easy to access, and not hard to navigate.

My EDM 310 class
I sit in class wondering what is going on. Then I slowly figure it out I am supposed to be paying attention. I have actually learned how to use the Microsoft program that is very critcal to the modern world I live in. I like the blog and the publisher projects because it is more realistic and less thinking I have the chance to be creative.
